仕事の企画のために『マーケティングリサーチの論理と技法』（上田拓治著／日本評論社）という良書を洗っていたら、リサーチャーとマーケターの違いが出ていた。
＜リサーチャー＞ ⇔ ＜マーケター＞
■事実の発見 ⇔ ■アイデアの発見
■過去を調べる ⇔ ■未来を見据える
■理性的なアプローチ ⇔ ■情熱的なアプローチ
■情報を分析する ⇔ ■情報を解釈する
■客観的に眺める ⇔ ■主観的に眺める
■データを重視 ⇔ ■インサイトを重視
「リサーチャー」って悲しいほど20世紀型ですね（泣。
私はやっぱり「マーケター」でありたいです。
だから、リサーチャーはペシミストで、マーケターはオプティミストでないといけません。
データには「誤り」がある前提でミスを捜し、自分の感情を抑えて論理を組み立てる。ネクラ（死語？）な人
一方、おおかたの誤差には目をつむり、明るい未来をひとりよがりに描く。脳天気（これも死語？）な人
